Port Haven Harbor is a natural deepwater harbor on the central California coast, offering year-round sailing in protected waters with reliable afternoon thermal winds.

Sailing Conditions

Prevailing westerlies of 8–15 knots make for ideal racing conditions from March through November. The harbor mouth provides access to open ocean sailing for cruisers and distance racers. Water temperature ranges from 55°F in winter to 68°F in late summer.

Getting Here

Harbor Yacht Club is located at 123 Harbor Drive, Port Haven, CA 90210. From Highway 101, take the Harbor Drive exit and follow signs to the marina district. Ample free parking is available.

Local Amenities

The harbor district features restaurants, shops, and a waterfront promenade. Port Haven Marina and Chandlery is a short walk from the club, offering boat supplies, rigging services, and fuel dock.
