Junior Sailing Academy

Our Junior Sailing Academy has introduced thousands of young sailors to the sport since 1965. With certified instructors and a fleet of 30 boats, we offer programs for every age and skill level.

Beginner Program (Ages 8–12)

Learn the fundamentals in our Optimist fleet. Half-day sessions focus on boat handling, safety, and fun on the water. No experience needed.

Intermediate Program (Ages 12–15)

Advance your skills in 420s and Lasers. Students learn spinnaker handling, tactical racing, and seamanship. Weekly racing against other club programs.

High School Team (Ages 14–18)

Our competitive team races in the regional interscholastic league. Practice three days per week with regattas most weekends during spring and fall seasons.

Summer Sailing Camp

Eight one-week sessions from mid-June through early August. Full-day programs include sailing instruction, water safety, marine science, and beach activities. Camp runs Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 3 PM. Early bird registration opens March 1.
